Economically, there has been efforts to expand economic cooperation with countries such as Switzerland and Russia, with a focus on investment in energy sectors, especially gas and oil. On the security level, the Iraqi government has demonstrated a clear determination to combat terrorist groups through pre-emptive operations that resulted in the destruction of terrorist hideouts in Nineveh and Kirkuk, as well as security cooperation with Turkey and Morocco.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">These developments reflect Iraq&#8217;s desire to enhance its political and economic stability in a volatile regional and international environment. Despite the challenges, Iraq is intensifying its efforts to preserve its sovereignty and protect its national interests by strengthening internal and external security coordination, in addition to taking advantage of economic opportunities to increase future growth and investment.<\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Yemen:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">The Yemeni government&#8217;s efforts to mobilize international and regional support to support its legitimacy throughout Yemeni territory continue, and its condemnation and rejection of the lack of real efforts on the ground limit the Houthi presence, which threatens the safety and sovereignty of Yemen and its people, and on the other hand, an escalation in Houthi military activity is observed with regard to mobilization, mobilization and rearrangement of ranks in a scene that represents a potential and near threat to the regional and international security system, especially in light of the continued channels of support and communication between Iran and the Houthis through the ports. On the social level, the government decided to close all schools in Juba for two weeks due to the sharp high temperatures that led to the fatigue of many students in schools, in a move aimed at protecting lives, in light of the harsh weather conditions. On the economic level, the oil fields were restarted, allowing the resumption of oil production, which is the artery of the southern economy. Overall, South Sudan remains in a transitional phase full of political, security and social challenges, which require sustained stabilization and development efforts.<\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Syria:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">There are a number of factors that may provide an opportunity for change in the political, security and economic life in Syria, such as the convening of the National Dialogue Conference, and the return of Syria to its Arab neighborhood amid regional and international support for the new Syrian administration headed by Ahmed al-Sharaa, as well as the adoption of some decisions related to the suspension of part of the sanctions imposed on the country, but there are many challenges and obstacles that may prolong the Syrian crisis, such as the security chaos, and the catastrophic economic deterioration in Damascus, along with external interference in Syria&#8217;s internal affairs, threaten the beginning of a new round of armed conflict.<\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Libya: <\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">During February, the Libyan crisis witnessed intense political movement between local and international actors, as negotiations continued between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to resolve the political stalemate, amid UN and European efforts to advance the electoral process.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">On the Security level: the Libyan National Army (LNA) movements have emerged at home and abroad, as security challenges continue in the south. Economically: Libya sought to strengthen regional and international cooperation, especially in the fields of energy and infrastructure, while challenges related to financial liquidity and high prices persisted.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">The general scene reflects the continuation of the state of division, with indications of external interference that may affect the course of a political solution.<\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Lebanon:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">The Lebanese situation witnessed prominent developments during February, most notably the formation of a new government headed by Nawaf Salam, which won the confidence of parliament and pledged reforms, in light of the continuing economic challenges and security tensions on the southern border.
